I am a curious, systems-oriented Design Researcher and Educator and Artist focused on sustained solutions to benefit the people and planet.  As a researcher and consultant to the private and non-profit sectors, I co-create strategies for transitional spaces toward reparative and zero-waste design.  As an educator on design studies, I've enjoyed teaching on topics of Sustainable Design, Transition Design, Research Methods, and Systems Thinking at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and Parsons School of Design in NYC. In my art practice, I explore the underbelly of post-consumer waste in textiles through wastescapes in watercolor on paper and through making and mending forgotten textiles.
